Hide AdLed by the Reverend Jim Crawford, the commemoration of the former Colne Park High School student included touching tributes by James’ Uncle Paul and his best friend Luke Binns.
Time was also given to the congregation to reflect on their own memories of James, while R. Kelly’s “The World’s Greatest” was played.
The service, which ended with the Liverpool FC anthem “You’ll Never Walk Alone”, was followed by a burial at Colne Cemetery.
