More than 200 pupils, teachers, assistants and parents watched on as a dozen awards were presented at the glittering event.
Entertainment was provided by college duo Lily Fontaine and Ross Munroe.

Hide AdWelcoming guests, including new Burnley MP Julie Cooper and husband Brian, Sixth Form College and University vice principal Alison Cameron Brandwood, said that this year’s awards were the best attended yet and that the quality of the entries reflected the progress being made in education across East Lancashire.
Editor Chris Daggett echoed that sentiment saying that great strides had been made in local education in the last 10 years.
He also praised the efforts of teachers in the area for their commitment to raising standards.

Inspirational Teaching Award

Career Aspiration Award

Young Scientist/Engineer Award
