PHOTOS: 2015 Pendle Pub Walk ‘biggest yet’

Well over a thousand pre-registered walkers and scores more who signed up on the day made the 2015 Pendle Pub walk the biggest and best yet.

Even the morning rain could not damped the spirits of the walkers who once again turned out in force to support the annual fund-raiser for Pendleside Hospice.

Organised by the Rotary Club of Burnley Pendleside, the walk had two starting points, the Pendle Inn, Barley, and the Sparrow Hawk in Fence.

It took in all the pubs in Fence, Roughlee, Barley, Higham and Blacko as well as several others in Barrowford.

Organisers are now hoping that this year’s even will eclipse the record amount of £56,000 raised last year.
