SNOW storms struck East Lancashire over the weekend, leaving people stranded in their own homes, cars abandoned and roads impassable.
Across Burnley, Pendle and the Ribble Valley, snow blanketed the countyside and looks here to stay as temperatures are not forecast to rise much above freezing all week.
