Whalley pupils write thank you letters to fundraising hero Colonel Tom Moore
Oakhill pupils have been busy putting pen to paper and writing special letters of gratitude to Colonel Tom Moore.

Col Moore, who celebrated his 100th birthday last week, received plaudits from across the UK after raising over £32m. for the NHS by recently walking laps of his garden.
Twelve letters of thanks are on their way from Year 4 pupils of Oakhill College, Whalley.

Hide AdLouise Barnes, Year 4 teacher, said: "All the children are posting them from their homes as they continue to learn from home via teacher led learning on iPads. They’re doing an amazing job. We hope Colonel Tom enjoys reading the letters. They would love to meet him one day!"
