Top award for Padiham school devoted to saving the planet
An internationally recognised award for excellence in environmental action has been presented to a Padiham school which is passionate about saving the planet.

The Eco Schools' Green Flag was presented to Padiham Primary School to recognise its environmentally friendly actions including re-cycling and developing bio-diversity in the school grounds.
The school also held an 'Eco Week' where students explored the worrying effects of plastic pollution on marine creatures. The assessors were very impressed with the strong views held by the children on this issue.
