The Apprentice candidates from Lancashire over the years

As a new series of the hit BBC show The Apprentice begins tonight, we thought we’d look back at the Lancashire contestants from years gone by.

Since The Apprentice began 21 years ago, dozens and dozens of businnessmen and women have attempted -and largely failed- to impress the business tycoon Lord Alan Sugar.

Included in the TV hopefuls have of course been a few people from Lancashire.

Sadly in the upcoming series, none of the contestants hail from our Red Rose County so instead we thought we’d hark it back to some of those from previous series instead.
