Teen magician will have Burnley and Ribble Valley viewers rooting for him as he makes bid for place in grand final of top TV talent show
and live on Freeview channel 276
Jasper, who is just 14, will appear before the celebrity panel in the smash hit show tomorrow night on ITV at 8pm.
And if he is successful Jasper will win a place in the grand final which will take place live in October. The winner will scoop the £250,000 prize money and will appear on the Royal Variety performance in front of the Queen.
The whole of Burnley and Clitheroe is expected to be rooting for the amazing young man who stunned both the audience and the judges with his act which included a cracking magic trick with lots of twists and turns which involved him taking a red hanky which he pushed into his fist before opening his hand to reveal he had turned it into an egg.
A former pupil of Briercliffe Primary School in Burnley who now attends Clitheroe's Ribblesdale High School, Jasper was told by Simon Cowell he had a 'huge future' ahead of him, praise indeed from the man who is at times impossible to impress!
Due to the coronavirus all the semi-finals had to be pre-recorded and live-streamed to a virtual audience with just the judges, including Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams in the studio along with presenters Ant and Dec.
At the end of the show viewers can vote for their favourite acts by ringing or texting or through a special BGT app.
Jasper who lives with his parents, Paul and Claire Cherry and his little sister Izzy, who is eight, is among the top 40 acts in the nail biting semi-finals which have been screened over the last few Saturday nights.
