A teaching assistant at a Burnley school is swapping the classroom for the streets in attempting to run 48 miles in 48 hours.

Josh Ramsay will be tackling the epic two day run on May 29th in a bid to raise £500 for the Georgia Fourie Butterfly Fund, which helps provide for pupils at the special Holly Grove Primary School in Barden Lane.

Josh will be running four miles every four hours to meet his target, with the money going towards buying resources for the school to support the "Catch Up" campaign.

The Georgia Fourie Butterfly Fund was set up in 2009 memory of a pupil who died after many years of ill health. Georgia's legacy lives on through the charity and has funded residential trips to Blackpool, holiday clubs and bought vital resources for school.
