The route begins with an 11-mile walk in Bacup on Friday, followed by 10 miles in Colne on Saturday and a final 19-mile challenge in Blackburn on Sunday.

Kevin is taking part in Pendleside Does Strictly Come Dancing alongside dance partner Jessica Porter, of Sanderson's Dance, with all funds raised going towards the hospice.

As well as being a teacher, Kevin is involved with a number of local amateur theatre groups, including Burnley Panto Society, making the challenge a particularly personal one.

Kevin said: "This is a personal journey for me, visiting some of the venues I have performed and worked at throughout my life. Walking alongside my brothers makes it extra special.

"This event is all about supporting an incredible local charity, Pendleside Hospice, while bringing communities together through theatre, fun and fundraising."

Pendleside Hospice provides care and support for people living with advanced long-term illnesses, as well as their families, across Burnley and Pendle.

Supporters can follow Kevin's progress and donate to the fundraising effort via the event's JustGiving donation page.
