Pupils run over 2,000 miles to help feed starving children across the world
Pupils from St Mary Magdalene’s, St Augustine’s and St Joseph’s RC primary schools have been running a series of laps equivalent to the distance from Burnley to Calvary where Jesus was crucified.
And a final dash round Towneley Park saw them complete the project on Tuesday.

They asked friends and family to sponsor them and they also took collection mugs home to fill with spare coins for Mary's Meals.
Mr Richard Johnson, sports co-ordinator at St Mary Magdalene's, said: "Children from all three schools have worked really well for a fantastic cause and I would like to thank everyone who has supported us throughout the project."
