The victim, who was 82 and from Foulridge, was with his wife walking their dogs at Ivescar near Ribblehead Viaduct yesterday when the attack happened at around 1-45pm.

It is believed they may have disturbed the cattle, who had calves with them, and the man suffered serious injuries and died at the scene.
