Passers-by do a double take as Boris Johnson and Donald Trump spotted in Burnley
and live on Freeview channel 276
Boris sported a Union Jack top and Trump was clad in a top decorated with stars and stripes.
The duo were resplendent in deckchairs in the front garden of a house in Rosegrove Lane as part of the community's first ever scarecrow festival.
Arranged under the Good Neighbours Project banner, by the Rosegrove Neighbourhood Watch group, the event was a great success with several households taking part.
Families let their imaginations run riot with scarecrows ranging from superheroes and surfers to Star Wars characters, figures from children's nursery rhymes, pirates, the clown from the horror film It and even notorious American zookeeper, Joe Exotic, who is more widely known as 'Tiger King.'
The festival was held over Saturday and Sunday and was the latest in a series of events staged to help neighbours band together throughout lockdown.
Over the past few months Sunday night was 'dancing on the doorstep' night and celebrations were arranged to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day with a water gun fight put on for all the children.
And the next event, a lantern walk, is already being organised for October.
