Padiham schoolchildren's talents add up to victory in top Maths challenge
Held at Burnley's Heasandford Primary School, competitors Kian Parkinson, Tia Butterworth, Isobel Olerenshaw and Alfie Stevenson took part in the Rock Stars Times Table challenge which is designed to help students master mathematical skills.
The first was a multiplication grid which they completed the quickest. They then went to the computers and logged onto TT Rock Stars and competed in three minute challenges for 15 minutes to get as many correct answers as possible.

As a treat the challenge was followed by a fun photo shoot and disco.
Year six pupils, Xavier Brookes, Kyle Duckworth and Dalton Wood went to Bolton for an official TTrockstar wrangle against some of the best young mathematicians in the North West.
There were approximately 200 competitors that challenged out tables battles for one minute.
