A virtual Hallowe'en camp saw around 50 youngsters from Burnley's All Saints, Habergham, St Matthews and St Stephen’s groups in spooky fancy dress costume.

And, so they can gain their ' night away' badge, they all took on the challenge to sleep somewhere other than their own bed for the night.

The camp took place over three Zoom calls starting with cake in a mug cooking, crafts and a spooky story and eggy bread and lantern making.

Akelas Alan Fielding, Phil Riley and Pat Clouston were the brains of the idea and ran the show between them.

And the night was rounded off with a big cheer for Alan who has received an official 'thank you' from the Scout Association for his hard work in providing training for adults in the Burnley and Pendle district.
