Major Clitheroe road shut as heavy rain causes disruption
Police are advising motorists to avoid travelling on Chatburn Road after flood water causes blocked drains.
A spokesman for Ribble Valley Police said: "Due to an issue with the drains on Chatburn Road, Clitheroe, the road has become unsafe and traffic is currently being diverted until more permanent measures are put in place.
"Please use another route until the matter is resolved."
