The new artwork will be up for a month, giving people plenty of time over Christmas and New Year to visit the Belvedere Road location.
When told about the billboard, Jordan said: “Thank you for this, honestly, it’s amazing. I’m going to try and get home over Christmas, so I’ll definitely be heading down. Thank you for doing this for me.”
Until Jordan can make it back up north, his mum Wendy and brother Ryan headed down to the billboard along with other members of the family, along with Darren Bentley, media manager for Burnley FC and Lisa Pearson, head of income generation for Pendleside Hospice.
