Hospice grateful for Christmas gift

Pendleside Hospice has received another Christmas gift from a local company.

Thorne Access and Security Ltd of Burnley and Nelson donated £250 to the hospice.

Tom Bradley, business development manager, said: “At this time of year we normally provide wine and chocolates to our valued customers. This year, due to the global pandemic, we would like to donate the money we would have spent to our chosen charity Pendleside Hospice.”

Christina Cope, head of Corporate Fund-raising at Pendleside, said: “On behalf of Pendleside I would like to say a big thank you to Hadrian, the managing director of Thorne, and all the team there. Thorne has supported us previously and continue to do so and we are very grateful for its donation this Christmastime.”
