Fundraising Clitheroe Rotarians swing into action to raise £6k for deserving causes
In total, 140 members of Clitheroe Rotary and Blackburn Rotary joined forces to hold the charity golf day at Clitheroe Golf Club.
Despite early morning mist that delayed play by almost an hour, all 35 teams managed to complete their rounds before darkness fell.

A Clitheroe Rotary spokesman said: "It was a great day. The event was organised to raise funds for the East Lancashire Hospice, Macmillan Cancer Support and other Rotary-supported charities and it is anticipated that altogether around £6,000 will have been raised.
"Thanks are due to Clitheroe Golf Club, all the golfers, volunteers and the sponsors of the day for their support."
