Hard working staff at the Manor House Nursing Home in Chatburn celebrated in style and received well-deserved gift vouchers, presents and flowers for their commitment and long service.

A special presentation was held and staff were honoured for 100% attendance too. The longest service award was presented to manager Cath Mellin, who received heaps of deserving cheers and praise from her team after giving an impressive 30 years of service. Jill Walton and Christine Gregson followed, receiving 25-year awards, whilst Susan Barnes and Pat Walker both received 20-year awards. Cath’s daughter-in-law, Louisa Mellin, received the 15-year award and seven others were delighted to pick up their 10-year awards. In addition, 100% attendance awards for the whole year was received by an impressive 14 other team members.

Proprietors Janet and Chris Harrison praised all their team for their loyalty, dedication and hard work. This celebration was thankfully before the current visiting restrictions.
