Countdown is on to festive Winter Wander

The Rotary Club of Padiham has joined forces with Pendleside Hospice for their third family friendly Christmas Winter Wander.

Hundreds of families are expected to take part in the festive three mile walk around Padiham on Saturday, December 10th, to raise funds for the hospice.

Marshalled by elves, the idea of the walk is to encourage community spirit and spread a little Christmas magic while raising vital cash.

Anyone can register for the three mile walk but children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

At the end of the walk there will be a little Christmas treat for everyone.

Walkers will also be able to look out for elves on the route who will be handing out goodies and Father Christmas is set to make an appearance at Padiham Town Hall where there will be a variety of festive stalls.

Adults will be invited to wear Santa suits and there will be reindeer antlers for the children.
