For many years Blackburn Rotary and Clitheroe Rotary have organised annual golf competitions which have raised many thousands of pounds for charity.

This year’s event was able to take place at Clitheroe Golf Club earlier this year and raised a record £6,600 as a result of the generous support of sponsors and players and the kind co-operation of Clitheroe Golf Club

Sharon Crymble, the Lead Income Generator for the hospice, and Lisa Wild, the Area Fundraising Manager for Macmillan, were extremely grateful for the donations and explained that whilst members of the public are wanting to fundraise for them as usual, in most cases the pandemic has prevented this from happening for most of the year.
