Clitheroe businessman's charity stall raises £407 towards cancer treatments

Longstanding supporter Mr Pete Gainsley, sold a variety of goodies at bargain prices, which had been given to him by a retiring wholesale gift trader. He held his sale over the two consecutive Saturdays before Christmas.
Pete said: “Once again the generous people of Clitheroe and the Ribble Valley supported our efforts and thanks also go to our helpers and friends, who gave their time to help Rosemere in this most unusual of times.”

Hide AdPete added: “We had one customer, who came back to give us more money for glassware she bought and another, who gave us a £20 donation.”
Rosemere Cancer Foundation works to bring world class cancer treatments and services to cancer patients from throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria being treated at Rosemere Cancer Centre, The charity funds cutting edge equipment, research, training and other cancer services and therapies that the NHS is unable to afford.
