Hide AdPaul, who runs Form Barbershop in Woone Lane, Clitheroe, said he and his staff will be wearing protective visors, while clients will have to wear a face mask and disposable gowns. The father-of-four said he is looking forward to seeing his loyal customers returning and some new ones too.
He explained: "I am very excited. Today feels a little like Christmas Eve! Barbering is a hobby not only a job so you can imagine how much you would miss the thing you love doing the most for almost four months.
"We have clients booked in from one minute past midnight through until 9pm tomorrow evening.

Our booking system is great as we have introduced client consent forms which must be completed prior to any appointment along with a ‘I’m ready’ feature meaning we can page clients to let them know our station is clean and we are ready for them to enter the salon.
"We have six barbers, but to adhere to social distancing, we are working shift patterns so there will only be three barbers and three clients in the shop at any time."
Paul's client list is very busy tomorrow from customers seeking a post-lockdown trim.
He added: "I think there will be a variety of overgrown hair, the DIY jobs and then the ‘Mrs has a go’ so maybe we’ll find a few budding barbers!"
