Bus operator Transdev turning up the heat with new buses for Lancashire

Bus operator Transdev has launched new-look buses for its Hotline service linking Preston, Burnley and Blackburn.

The move comes as the bus operator looks ahead to life beyond the current pandemic restrictions by delivering higher quality and comfort for customers on its key Hotline route, which provides essential connections seven days a week for work and leisure.

The new-look Hotline buses feature USB power at every seat, lower emission engines and audio-visual next stop announcements.

Fares and times remain the same, with the current lockdown timetable offering a bus every 30 minutes on Monday to Fridays and every hour on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the route.

“Our buses will continue to provide transport for key workers and those making essential journeys, just as we have throughout the pandemic. With an eye-catching new livery on the outside and new features on the inside, our new-look Hotline buses are ready for what we hope will be a much brighter year ahead for Lancashire.”
