Burnley's Got Talent announces names of acts who made it to quarter finals

In the dramatic live announcement on facebook well known DJ and competition backer Kev Riley listed the names of the winners, who were voted for by the public, after making their debuts in the competition last Saturday.
This Saturday they will be asked to perform again by posting a new video onto the Burnley's Got Talent facebook page and the audience will be invited to vote for their favourites.

Hide AdThe semi final will feature the top 10 in the third round and the top five in the final.
And, along with £200 prize money donated by competition organisers, the winner will also get the chance to perform at Burnley Live music festival.
And, with almost 11,000 members of the facebook group and £3,612 raised for the NHS, the event has been a runaway success.
The idea of best pals Shelly Heap and Justine Lorriman, the duo set up a group on facebook, never anticipating the amazing response. They asked contestants to pay £5 to enter and for donations from people watching the acts.

Hide AdVideo messages asking people to support the contest and donate to the fund for the East Lancashire Health Trust have been sent from a host of stars including Burnley's cricketing legend James Anderson, Burnley player Nick Pope and Alastair Campbell, a well known Clarets fan and former press secretary to Labour Prime Minister Tony Blair.
The acts in the quarter finals are: Jenny Adesanya, Dylan Austin, Laura-Princess Bell, Lacey Byker, Benjames Charlton, Jasper Cherry, Mark Davies, Leonie Decruz, Ashleigh Jade Dwyer, Jasmyn Ellerton, Jessica Fay, Taylor Fay.
Anna Greenaway, Kat Haydock, Lia Hatfield, Heidi Hodgskin, Jordan (Livesey) Hughes, Steve Hurrell, Hollie (Lisa Kay) Destiny Mannan, Hannah McGrail, Ava (Rachel McHalland) Eve McNulty, Georgina Moat, John Morton, Elijah (Joyce Murray).
