Burnley fans disappointed to leave Watford without a point as Vincent Kompany suffers first defeat

Burnley tasted defeat for the time this season after a solitary goal from Watford captain Tom Cleverley gave the home side the win.

The Clarets dominated possession for long periods of the game, but couldn’t find a way past Hornets keeper Daniel Bachmann.

There was still plenty for the travelling Clarets faithful to be encouraged by though ahead of the side’s next game, at home to Hull City on Tuesday.
