Zoey Lawless (10) was placed eighth in the contest organised by Calling U Out. This is an outstanding achievement considering she only started competing in December and there were 85 competitors.

The competition was originally due to take place in Liverpool but was cancelled due to the lockdown so organisers decided to ask entrants to submit their own street dance videos.

Dawn said: "Zoey received a hat and a medal for doing so well and we are all very proud of her.

"It's certainly made us all smile."

A student at Lucy Fallows' Next Level Dance in Burnley, Zoey won her first competiiton, organised by the United Dance Organisation, in February with her dance partner Sienna MacDonald.

The duo were all set to compete at the world championships in Blackpool in August as party of the DFeet dance team but it looks like this will also be postponed.
