Burnley businessman to hand out 200 Easter egg treats to Burnley and Padiham children

A Burnley company is preparing to hand out 200 Easter eggs to children in Burnley and Padiham on Good Friday.

Mark Hanson, who is the owner of Quicker Skips, said he wanted to thank the community for supporting his business over the past year.

He said: "We’ve had a good year thanks to the community support so we want to give something back and hopefully put some smiles on faces."

Mark and his team, who have been supported by Morrisons, will be handing out the first 100 eggs outside Padiham Town Hall from 11am to noon.

They will then go to Burnley and the next 100 will be handed out in the lay-by next to McDonald's restaurant in the town centre. They expect to be in Burnley from 1-30pm.
