Burnley bus driver ready to lose her crowning glory and raise funds for hospice in memory of her much missed best friend
Nicola Burbridge was just 41 when she died of cancer in Pendleside Hospice in February
Her best pal, Allison Corless, decided she wanted to do something to raise funds for the hospice which has faced tough times during the pandemic as it relies solely on public donations.

Hide AdAllison, who is 45, said: "Nicola was one of my oldest friends, she was my bridesmaid and I was there when she gave birth to her first child.


"I wanted to do something for Pendleside Hospice and I am always dyeing my hair and messing with it so I thought I would shave it off.
"Nicola would be buzzing that I am doing this."
To date Allison has raised £195 towards her £500 target. Her son Evan (13), a pupil at Blessed Trinity RC College in Burnley, will do the honours for his mum on Sunday (May 31st) live on Facebook.
Alllison added: "I shaved his a couple of weeks ago so he said he would do mine. I will find out how good he is at it then.
