Paratrooper Ryan North, who Jordan has credited for telling him to go to his 'happy place' when faced with a scary situation, said that the Jordan viewers have been watching is '100 per cent genuine.'

Ryan said: "From the moment he set foot on top of the mountain and was sick, to the terrible one liners he cracks and is the only one who laughs at them, he had been totally himself."

Ryan said Jordan's 'loving and caring' nature had shone through in the show and also his passion for his northern roots. He grew up in Burnley and attended St James, Lanehead, Primary School.

With just four contestants left in the show, one is expected to be booted out tonight, leaving three in the grand final tomorrow. Radio One DJ and Clarets fan Jordan is the bookie's favourite to win the show and he has been hotly tipped as the winner througout the series.

He will face the vote off tonight with Eastenders star Shane Richie, TV presenter Vernon Kay and CBeebies presenter Giovanna Fletcher.

Jordan won an army of fans with his cheeky personality and gentle nature and last night viewers were moved when he finally received his treat from home, a bar of chocolate and a letter from his proud mum, Wendy, who told him 'believe in yourself as much as we believe in you.'

Ryan said he was speaking for all the family, including their dad Graham, and brothers Bradley and Domonic and wider family, when he said they were all proud of him for conquering his fears.

Jordan has endured four bush tuckers trials, including being covered in insects and snakes and having to eat an array of 'delicacies' such as a goat's eye.
