Firefighters believe arsonists are responsible for setting light to a car in Burnley last night.

Crews from Burnley were called to Wynotham Street at 10pm and used a hosereel to extinguish the flames.

They spent an hour at the scene of the blaze.

Last week seven cars were set alight in Pendle and one vehicle was targeted in Burnley prompting a plea from a fire chief for the public to be vigilant.
