With December well under way, staff are reminding people that dogs are a long-term commitment, not just a Christmas present. The dogs at Bleakholt range from energetic companions to those better suited to a quieter home, with matches available for many different lifestyles.
The sanctuary is open to visitors, allowing prospective adopters to meet the dogs and speak to staff about the adoption process.
More information is available at bleakholt.org. Below, meet the dogs who are still waiting to be rehomed.
