Pensioner suffers head and pelvic injuries after being hit by car in Colne
A woman in her 70s was rushed to hospital in "serious condition" after being hit by a car in Colne.
The woman, 76, was crossing Vivary Way when a Volvo XC90 collided with her at around 8.15am on Thursday (April 15).
She suffered head and pelvic injuries and remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition, police said.
Sgt Lee Harris said: "We need anyone who may have seen what happened to make contact as they could assist with our investigation.
"If you witnessed this collision or were in the area and your vehicle is equipped with a dash cam, please make contact with us at your earliest opportunity."
