Pendleside Hospice car raffle launched

One of Pendleside Hospice’s chief fund-raising campaigns – the annual car raffle – has been launched.

This year the fantastic prize up for grabs is a Mini One, but should the car not be to the liking of the lucky winner they can opt to trade it in with the supplier, Lloyds Mini, or take the cash alternative of £8,000 to spend as they wish.

The car has been bought thanks to the support of six local companies and organisations – Alderson and Horan Funeral Services, Charter Walk Shopping Centre, John Macadam Garages, Burnley and Pendle Freemasons and Fuel Card Services have all sponsored the campaign and the car has been supplied at a discount by Lloyds Mini.

Tickets, priced at £1 each and in books of five, will be available to buy from the hospice by telephoning 01282 440120 or from the hospice reception, any of the hospice eight charity shops in the area or from any of the car sponsors.

You can also buy tickets online at www.pendleside.org.uk.

The draw for the winning ticket will take place on Saturday, September 19th.
