Pendle Charity League to mark big milestone
A special dinner will help mark XLCR Pendle Charity League's upcoming 50th anniversary.
The event takes place on Friday, June 1st at Turf Moor and league organisers are also launching a new cup competition for next season as a lasting memorial.
A new trophy, specially made in France, has been donated by the League Secretary, Chris Hogan.
“We wanted to mark the 50th anniversary with a celebration and also provide a lasting memorial to everyone who has helped the league reach this milestone,” he said.
“The dinner promises to be a great occasion. Paul Fletcher MBE and Steve Kindon have kindly agreed to speak at the event and Tom Scothern will provide the musical entertainment.
