Pair admit part in £13,000 cannabis dealing scheme

TWO men said to be involved in the commercial supply of £13,000 worth of cannabis from cars on the street, are awaiting sentence.

Abdul Munaf (24), of Guildford Street, Brierfield, and Waseem Khadam (20), of Holly Street, Nelson, have admitted two allegations of being concerned in the supply of the drug and were bailed.

Mohammed Ijaz (43), of Rutland Street, Nelson, pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis and was said to have taken the drug for back problems. He was given a six months conditional discharge at Burnley Crown Court.
