May I take this opportunity to thank the following people for saving my life.
The ambulance men; the Trauma Unit Preston Royal Infirmary; Julie and her team; Hartley Ward, Pendle Community Hospital; all the kind people who sent me “get well” cards, the police and my wonderful family and wife. Without their help I would have been in a far darker place.
