Wind Turbines will be a ‘carbuncle’
It was interesting to scan the headline and text for the first house in your Property’section in the Clitheroe Advertiser this week. It boasted “commanding views over the Ribble Valley and beyond”.
No doubt potential buyers will also enjoy the eyesore of the wind turbines currently being assembled to overlook the valley at the dormant Carr Hall “Garden Centre”.
Despite the best efforts of the local community, planning approval was granted on appeal and we are left to reflect upon Carr Hall’s need to power a non-functioning business with the carbuncle festering in our midst.
