Will empty building become blot on landscape?

The residents of bonny Colne have now got a new health centre and, yes, it’s very nice and new, but why have all the services not moved across from the old site yet?

Colne Corner Surgery and Colne Health Centre Pharmacy are still stuck across at the old building, forcing patients to walk across or go elsewhere for their prescriptions! A bit of a cock-up somewhere down the line I think!

And what of the future once the old building is no longer in use? I bet the council and Barnfield will have already made plans as I write this!

Let’s hope it’s put to good use and not a blot on this up-and-coming, little gem of a town and let’s hope the health centre relocation does not impact on the town’s shops and the people of Colne still support the local shops while visiting the centre and don’t go to supermarkets away from town!

Please let’s make Colne the envy of nearby towns and villages and make it special.
