We’re not in an era where children were seen but not heard

I am writing in response to Mrs N. Phildes “Peace being lost in Colne library”.

I am a proud grandma who attended “the chimps tea party” with my grandson, and do so each Friday morning and fully support activities in the library.

How miserable is she to object to 30 minutes of noise from small children enjoying themselves?

Should she not be pleased children are visiting a library!

Mrs Phildes has at least 38 hours to visit the library during the rest of the week, should she require peace and quiet to read her book!

She is perhaps of an era where children should be seen and not heard!

How sad.
