We’re being let down on all sides
At a recent police PACT meeting I was alone in the room for the first 30 minutes then a further three locals turned up. After an hour we realised the police weren’t coming so off we went feeling once again that we, the public, had been forgotten.
Do we get the treatment we deserve? It seems not. With even housing associations leaving drains blocked and smelling and cement spilt on paths, the support for our community seems to be dwindling, except for the usual few.
So come on, let’s pull together and see that we can all be proud of Burnley, which has excellent history in abundance, which we can be proud to be a part of.
