Well done for reporting on child poverty

I was pleased this story has been covered locally.

It saddens me to think of families anywhere experiencing poverty, but especially so in my locality.

I manage the Christians against Poverty debt centre in Burnley and Pendle.

I go into the homes of families who are struggling every day, where parents are going without food in order to feed children. Where families are broken due to the stress and pressure they feel because of having no money, parents are divorcing and experiencing mental and physical health problems.

Well done for reporting this vital issue of growing concern in Leader Times Newspapers.
