We need to protect our forests
Friday was FSC Friday 2014, a global celebration of good wood and fair forests, held each year on the last Friday of September.
FSC certified forests are managed with respect for people, plants and wildlife and the products from these forests are widely available.
Half of the UK public recognise the FSC tick-tree logo.
If that includes you, be sure to choose FSC certified products to help protect the world’s forests.
If not, please look out for the little tree with a tick.
FSC certified products and packaging are available from builders’ merchants, supermarkets, high-street retailers and major brands, even UK postage stamps are FSC certified. Look out for the FSC label when you shop!
