We don’t need your newspaper’s Communist propaganda

I do not believe your Edward Lee should be given the licence to air his communist views in what purports to be a family newspaper.

By no means is my family staunchly Conservative but if it’s a choice between politicians, as opposed to being ruled and bullied by the likes of Scargill and the unions, we choose the former.

If you dare, cast your eyes over Andrew Pierce’s piece of sensible journalism, a man who has the experience and knowledge of politics, which you prove you so sadly lack.

My family has had its own political meeting this weekend and discussed whether we need the Burnley Express and its communist propaganda. We accept that you speak from naivety and lack of experience but your masters should pull in the reins a little bit and let the people think the newspaper is neutral. We have all decided to cease our subscriptions to the red newspaper forthwith. My signature is not added as I have friends at the Burnley Express who will, I suppose, be your comrades! Burnley Express – no thanks”.
