Too expensive to move bus shelter
Recently I have been in contact with Nigel Hopwood from Burnley Streetscene about the chance of moving the bus shelter opposite the Prairie Pub on the town side as users can’t see the buses coming down Colne Road.
Due to its position one has to keep going forward to look and dash under in bad weather. It’s a busy stop with the public, hospital patients and elderly. The shelter really was misplaced.
However, I would like to thank Mr Hopwood for his efforts to see if the shelter could be moved forward but it comes down to cost and unfortunately there is no cash available.
