Thanks for restoring James Booth memorial

James was the older brother of my great Uncle Alwyn, who married May Kellett, my granddad William Kellett’s sister.

I immediately contacted my cousin, Anne Hull, who lives a bit more locally. My father was very fond of his Uncle Alwyn and would have been very interested and pleased to see the restoration. Unfortunately dad passed away earlier this year.

I think this is an incredibly wonderful thing Andrew Brown has done. To recognise James in this way after all these years – to highlight his bravery and his all-too-short life is fabulous.

On behalf of the entire Kellett family, I would like to say a heartfelt thank you for this act of generosity and kindness, much appreciated.
