Opposite Burnley Fire Station is a piece of land for sale signposted new development opportunity, with planning for 10 houses.
In front of said land are 10 mature trees which would be in the way of above opportunity unless some person came along and chopped them down accidentally. It has happened before.
Ideally this land would be best used for retirement bungalows freeing houses for young families. Burnley has not built a retirement bungalow for at least 40 years. Come on councillors show your commitment to the people who really care for Burnley and its people.
