Please support local music scene
Following my recent letter lamenting the decline in the fortunes of the music section of the Luther Greenwood Memorial Festival, I am pleased to report an improvement in the number of adult entries.
The junior entries are unchanged and on Saturday, November 29th, at The Muni in Colne classes will not start until 10am and are expected to finish in mid-afternoon.
At St John’s Methodist Church, Colne, on Saturday, December 6th, adult classes will start at 9am and continue until about 7pm. Refreshments will be available at both venues.
We hope Colne’s music lovers will attend and give support to the entrants. Thanks for your help.
