Our MP is always ready to help
I have got to take off my hat to our MP Mr Gordon Birtwistle.
I support our town by shopping in the town centre every Saturday, and it’s good to see a man of his age out there in all weather listening to people’s problems and giving them advice. If he can help you he will do so, all on top of his other duties as MP.
Now, I ask, when do we see our council leader? The answer to that is if we go along to one of her surgeries at Burnley or Padiham Town Hall, and as she is a councillor for Bank Hall we don’t see her, or our other councillors, at all.
Keep up the good work Mr Birtwistle.
